Minneapolis, MN—March 30, 2016—FasTest, Inc. introduces new SMART Technology for its standard CGA-580 connectors. The new technology provides operators with a visual verification that a positive connection has been made and that it is safe to begin the filling process. Each connector with SMART Technology is equipped with LED lights that changes color depending on the connector’s connection status: red – fully disconnected, orange – partially connected, green – fully connected.
Sleeve Provides Visual Indication of a Secure Connection
Minneapolis, MN—October 5, 2015—FasTest, Inc. introduces the new SurConnect sleeve accessory to the XT Series product family for expanded tubes.
FasTest’s SurConnect is equipped with a green verification ring that becomes visible when the XT connector has made a perfect connection to a tube profile. The SurConnect sleeves are color coded by connector size for easy identification and the lightweight aluminum body reduces strain on operators. The XT Series connectors with the SurConnect are ideally suited for helium leak testing, run testing, proof testing, pressure decay and other related processes.
Unique Wide Tolerance Design Accommodates Variance in Tube Size and Style
Minneapolis, MN—August 24, 2015—FasTest, Inc. introduces the newest connector in the EZ Connect™ Series, the ZF, designed to provide instant connections to a wide range of formed tube configurations for in-process testing.
The EZ Connect ZF incorporates one handed, manual actuation to create a leak-tight external connection up to 300psi. The ergonomic sleeve handle design and color coded handles simplify testing for operators, while the auto-aligning seals reduce connection failures. Manufactured from anodized aluminum, the EZ Connect ZF provides a robust, yet lightweight solution that eliminates strain on the operator.
Flexible Bail and Lever Actuation Options for Popular CGA Connections
Minneapolis, MN—April 30, 2015—FasTest, Inc. introduces new flexible bail handle and lever actuation handle options for its standard CGA-540, CGA-580 and CGA-346 connectors. The new handle options, designed to provide new flexibility to fill plant operators, will be formally unveiled at the GAWDA Spring Management Conference in New Orleans, May 3-5.
The flexible bail and lever actuation options allow for single (gloved) hand actuation, and offer two stage mechanical safeties. Combined with the robust connectors expected from FasTest, the new handle options ensure the smoothest, most streamlined operation in use with small diameter cylinders (20-80 cf). Additional FasTest CGA style connectors are available with standard bail handles to cover the full range of valve clearance requirements.
